David fall (patale chhango) is located in western part of pokhara , Nepal , beside the pokhara airport . It has been attracting many visitors through waterfall . As we know , the david fall had originally named "patale chhango" but nowadays, its been famous by the name "david fall" . According to history , a Swiss citizen was swimming in Fewa lake at that time the water overflowed and mrs david swept through Patale chhango . And never found the body . From that day , patale chhango named as david fall .
The water source of david fall is Fewa lake . At monsoon season , the level of water is very high and the fall looks very dangerous and favolous to see . But during winter season , water level slows down .
The falling water goes to Gupteshwor cave , which is popular place for Hinduism . Here is a tempe of lord Shiva . Religious people visits this cave to pray and other religious people go for visit its circumstances .
