David Fall

David fall (patale chhango) is located in western part of pokhara , Nepal , beside the pokhara airport . It has been attracting many visitors through waterfall . As we know , the david fall had originally named "patale chhango"  but nowadays, its been famous by the name "david fall" . According to history , a Swiss citizen was swimming in Fewa lake at that time the water overflowed and mrs david swept through Patale chhango . And never found the body . From that day , patale chhango named as david fall .

 The water source of david fall is Fewa lake . At monsoon season , the level of water is very high and the fall looks very dangerous and favolous to see . But during winter season , water level slows down . 

The falling water goes to Gupteshwor cave , which is popular place for Hinduism . Here is a tempe of lord Shiva  . Religious people visits this cave to pray and other religious people go for visit its circumstances . 

Bat Caves

Bat cave is located near by Pokhara. This is also discovered by the owner of land. The entrance of the cave is little narrow and exit is also small like 2fit wide and 1 fit height. Its surprising to know but if you try once its easy to exit. Inner of the cave we can see the images of elephand, god , goddess articles. Its special features is BAT. This cave is famous through bat. It has approx 15 thousand bats different species.

Ihis is 150 meter long, 25 feet height and the shape of U.

Fewa Lake

 Fewa lake is a most visited lake of pokhara than other 7 lakes located at south west of pokhara city. It covers 5.23 Squire KM and average depth is 8.6 meter of 28 feet and max is 24 meter and approx water limit is 46,00,000 cubic meters. Phewa lake is also attracted by Barahai Tample which stands middle of the lake. This tample scene is the most lovely and desirable. You can boating, swimming, and also visit temple to pray Goddess Barahai Devi. In hindu religion is has another story and believe. But at the side of Tourism its should be memorable for your.

The West side of  Phewa Lake, here is a jungle its called "Rani Ban" and the top of the Rani Ban there is the peace Pagoda or Buddhism's temple or Gumba.

Northern side of Phewalake you can sea Sarankot and Himalayan Range. The most surprising thing is that, The himalayan range make its shadow in Phewa lake.  Lake look like the mirror.
